Physically I may be blind,
But I see clarity in my mind.
My life, Hashem assigned,
My journey’s route, He designed.
So yes, I may seem confined,
But I am not defined.
I won’t be judged for being disabled,
Through determination I am enabled,
I prove my worth to those who have labeled
To me, the rules of the book are fabled
My success rate I’ve charted and tabled.
Those who doubted my ability,
Lit a fire of determination in me
To never let the fact that I cannot see,
Stop me from breaking free;
“I can’t,” is not in my dictionary!
With Hashem at my side,
I tried and I tried,
Never letting go of my wounded pride,
Using faith as my guide,
I overcame my challenges in stride.
Each day I continue to push through,
Though my struggles are many, and not few,
To my goals, I stay true,
Knowing that we are all here to accomplish and do,
And that goes for me and for you!
