Gadget Your Way to Independence

I am a gadget girl. My kitchen is loaded with gadgets, some big, some small – but I love ‘em all. My aim is always to make life easier, even if that means spending money on another gadget. That would explain all of the Amazon packages that arrive at my house on a regular basis. You might think I overdo it, but each gadget has its own purpose – let me introduce you to some of my favorites.

The most recent addition to my collection is my Pot Minder/boiler alert disc. Made of metal or ceramic, I drop this disc into a pot of water that I’m putting up to boil. When the water reaches the boiling point, the disc makes a racket, warning me before the water splatters all over the place. This little disc has saved me from getting sprayed with hot water and helps to avoid messes. Smart, no? You can also buy it on Amazon.

One of my old favorites is the classic Henrietta hard/soft boiled egg cooker! A cheaper option is this great DASH brand that you can buy on Amazon. I love that there’s no hot water that you have to spill out after, and it beeps really loud when it’s done.

Speaking of eggs, another great product is the Electric Frying Pan with a Braille Dial. It’s so helpful for me to have the braille dial, so I can set the temperature myself. Then I set a timer so I’ll know when it’s done.
