Slicing and chopping
Are daily activities
To help me do them right
I need some basic necessities.
I’m a pretty neat chopper,
But you know I can’t see
That’s why, when I cook,
Pieces fly all over me.
Veggie soup is yummy
When the veggies are in the pot.
No thanks to carrots and celery
Landing in every spot!
‘Stay clean while you’re cooking‘
Is what I’m always preaching
So, I found a great tool
To help me practice what I’m teaching.
I love to cook, but mess
Makes chopping a dreaded chore
That’s why I know this board
Will make me want to chop more
My spills will all be caught
By the nifty little bin
And I’ll no longer dread chopping –
