Gitty Zee has always believed in the power of overcoming obstacles. She lost her sight at age eleven and continuously strives to focus on her abilities rather than disabilities. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and works as a program liaison. Currently, Gitty spreads awareness of overcoming challenges through her articles and via public speaking.

In her first children’s book, Gitty does more than simply introduce children to the reality of life for a person who is blind. Many Ways to See opens their eyes to the power of all their senses. The pictures, as well as the mental imagery, and engagement exercises, encourage them to expand their perspective and experience a broader view of their world.
