I love to cook – but I don’t want to live dangerously. Knife use is an integral part of food preparation. Under the best circumstances, it is easily to get a knick or small cut. Just a little slip, however, can lead to a disaster – cut fingers, blood in food, all kinds of things of things I’d like to avoid. I have found an easy solution. Gloves! Not the disposable, food-grade vinyl preparation gloves, rather, CUT-PROOF gloves made of stainless steel. No, this does not mean having tin-man hands! They are flexible and come in different colors so I can have different ones for meat, vegetables, dairy etc. They are machine washable and if not exactly a life-saver, they have definitely save my hands from abuse. You can buy these on Amazon – I don’t get commission but it would be nice!
